Staff Spotlight: Brett DeMarais - Account Manager

Brett was born in Buffalo, Minnesota. During, and after, high school he helped his grandpa run his farm for 4 years. After dating 6 years, Brett married his high school sweetheart, Kristi Devitt, in February 1988. He worked for an underground utility company, M&P, installing phone and cable TV for 3 years. He then became a sales Estimator at Marksman Metals for 9 years, preparing quotes for the production of metal parts. After that, he worked at Morrie's Buffalo Ford for 8 years as an Internet sales manager and was salesman of the year from 2006-2009.

In his free time Brett enjoys fishing, snowmobiling, small engine repair, and kayaking down the Mississippi with his wife. He has two children. His son, Jaymon, is now 21 and in his 3rd year at the University of Minnesota Duluth studying Graphic Design. His daughter, Terae, is now 17 and is a junior in high school.

His wife, Kristi, has worked for the same State Farm Insurance agent for over 21 years. Kristi enjoys baking of all sorts and loves to give it away. She especially enjoys the smile it brings to them (and her).
