Staff Spotlight: Kim Baker- Customer Care Consultant

Kim was born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Growing up she lived in Milwaukee, Des Moines, Crystal and Billings. After high school, Kim attended Golden Valley Lutheran College. After college Kim married her husband Bob, in February 1983. They have now been happily married for 27 years. In January 2001, Kim and Bob moved to Monticello where they currently reside.
Kim started out her career as a head preschool teacher before moving to a position as case manager at Prudential Insurance. After 5 years at Prudential, she returned to college and obtained a teaching degree in elementary education. After several years of substitute teaching, Kim then moved on to work for the Monticello Community Center as a Lead Guest Service/Birthday Coordinator for 5 years. She then received the opportunity to work for FiberNet Monticello as a Customer Care Consultant.

Kim enjoys reading, fishing, crafts, and spending time with her family. Kim has taken a cruise to the Caribbean Islands and Alaska. Her favorite place to visit is Disney World.
